summer time
Journal Entry: Thu May 10, 2007, 10:56 AM
Classes are over and I just found out that I am for sure taking German this summer. It's something I need to do for my degree, but I am not super excited about it. I only need to be able to translate the language, not speak it, so that should be easier. So if anyone wants to write comments in German, I can make pathetic attempts to translate for practice.
I'm writing a paper about architectural form driven by a fear of other people, based on an essay that a historian wrote in 1971. And I am writing another paper on the rhetorical use of biology in 1960 in the work of another architectural historian. Actually, I have four papers to write this summer.
But what I am really thinking about much of the time is:
1. my tiny tomato plants
2. Lego Star Wars
3. joining the local rowing club
... it's been 10 years since I rowed, but I would love to be back on the water.
- Listening to: Tori Amos - Virginia
- Reading: Karl Popper- The Open Society and Its Enemies
- Playing: Lego Star Wars
- Drinking: lukewarm coffee
Devious Comments
I am good, thanks for asking. Trying to finish up some papers from last year, helping to put together a syllabus for a housing course and looking forward to having all of my coursework for my PhD done. One more year. I think I liked my masters program better or I am just too old for this sitting in class business.
And you?

How are you doing anyway?

A mirror image
I am but one of two
I am but one of two who are one
So which am I? Am I the one or the other?
Am I the image in the mirror or am I the mirrors image?
It isn`t very usual that painter comments photography

If you don`t belive me, you have to trust me.

But thanks for the watch.

I'm going to watch
because I know nothing about art
and you seem to know a lot

So sad that I got locked out.

Sometimes everything just seems to be dried out - only to burst free again later.
Hope your creativity bursts free soon again
Happy new year
Thanks.
I spend too much time worrying about what to do with my life to have much time for art these days.
Sad how that works.
... especially when painting would make me feel better.
I would so much like to see more deviations coming from you - especially your paintings
cheers.

You have a nice gallery yourself. I enjoyed finding something so nice for commenting.
Thanks for commenting my stuff..
i see
i like the new teeth
and I agree with others, the heels are the weak part of the whole thing
the only other comment i would have, is that i wouldn't want you to make him look too old. Just cause it seems that people in the garden of eden should look more child-like?
what do you think?
